Oil is a New York City based country-folk trio consisting of Noah Rauchwerk, Ned Steves, and Granger Willson. The group formed in 2016 when these three friends sat down to play some Kris Kristofferson songs on Willson's live-in sailboat in the Hudson River. Since then, they have grown to combine classic country style songwriting with Americana influenced arrangements. From raucous drinking songs to heartfelt ballads about home, Oil sets out to prove that country music is alive and well in NYC.
