Meet Sheffield Selectboard candidate James Collinwood

Join us Thursday May 9th at The Stagecoach Tavern for an opportunity to get to know James Collingwood, a candidate for the Sheffield MA Board of Selectmen. The election is on Monday May 13th.

Statement from James Collingwood:

“I am running for the open seat on the Sheffield Select Board. I am life-long resident of Sheffield. I am a 1976 graduate of Mt Everett as are my two sons. I come from a family with a proven track record of service with over 100 years of service to our community. I personally have served the town on the planning board for the past 8 years, serving as Chairman for the last 5 years. I am a 25 year Legion of Honor Member of the Kiwanis Club of Sheffield. I have served on the Board of Directors for 20 years and also have served as President 3 times. My father, James Collingwood Sr. was recently honored for 60 years of service to this community where he served on numerous boards and committees including the Board of Selectmen. My grandmother Minnie Markham served as Sheffield’s Town Clerk for 40 years.

My wife Theresa and I have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. We recently merged our business JTC & Sons with Daley & Sons in order to maintain the quality service we have always provided to the community. We still operate out of the shop here in Sheffield. I am the Operations Manager for Daley & Sons.

I am proud to offer my continued service to all the residents of Sheffield in this important leadership role.”
